Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.

Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking a Manager of Financial Aid Technical Services. The manager will be responsible for the management of the college’s financial aid database system, electronic loan transmittals, reconciliation, and reporting requirements to ensure the efficient and effective processing and reporting of financial aid data in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. This person will work closely with IT programming staff on developing system processes, implementing algorithmic awarding and disbursement of Federal and State Aid, and performing quarterly testing on upgrades and modifications to the financial aid systems.

$37,860 (Minimum)- $53,957 (Midpoint)

Bachelor's degree + related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Knowledge of Ellucian Banner Financial Aid and Evisions Argos reporting system. 
• Experience in collaborating with programmers effectively.
• Direct financial aid experience 5.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff and the general public
