The Information Systems department at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applicants for a part-time Helpdesk Support Technician. The Technician will provide excellent customer service to our college community. The Technician will also be responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.
A high school diploma and three (3) years experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales, or marketing, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems.
Working knowledge of personal computer hardware and software, printers, and related information technology devices. Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions; establish and maintain working relationships with users and Information Technology staff; follow oral and written instructions; and communicate effectively.
