The Information Systems department at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applicants for a Helpdesk Support Technician. The Technician will provide excellent customer service to our college community. The Technician will also be responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.
A high school diploma and three (3) years experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, sales, or marketing, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems.
Working knowledge of personal computer hardware and software, printers, and related information technology devices. Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions; establish and maintain working relationships with users and Information Technology staff; follow oral and written instructions; and communicate effectively.
