Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.

The Recruiting division in Student Affairs is seeking candidates for a College Recruiter. The Recruiter will be responsible for creating interest in Horry-Georgetown Technical College programs that are offered at the Georgetown campus, including but not limited to Welding, Boat Building, Machine Tool, Mechatronics, Outboard Marine, Forestry, Nursing and Patient Care, to prospective students and the general public through means of recruitment, giving presentations, and promoting the College, with the end goal of increasing the number of prospects and applicants who complete the admission process and enroll in classes.

$37,860 (Minimum)- $53,957 (Midpoint)

Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. 

A combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge of local business and industry and experience in recruiting. Good communication skills, both oral and written; good presentation skills and good organizational skills. Must be able to relate to and engage a diverse population; and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public. Knowledge of advanced manufacturing business and industry is very helpful.
