Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.
Horry-Georgetown Technical College seeks a full time Administrative Assistant position in the Nursing and Health Care Science division. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing and performing administrative support for the Assistant Vice President and Faculty in nursing and health care sciences academic division of the College. The selected candidate will be also be responsible for providing administrative and clerical assistance for Academic Dean, Chairs, Simulation Director, and Faculty, as well as provide information to students who need assistance.

Preferred Qualifications: |
Employee should have good organizational and analytical skills; in addition, knowledge of information-delivery systems, administrative systems, video conferencing, video/audio capture, “smart” technology, and information technology, and computer programs such as Banner, SharePoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel. Skilled in simulation training, development of technology resources, maintenance of computer-driven simulators, public speaking, written and verbal communication, problem solving, research, analysis, evaluation of viable alternatives, and integration of systems. Dependability and good customer service skills are also important abilities for this job.
