Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.
Horry Georgetown Technical College is seeking candidates for an Institutional Intelligence Analyst to join our Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Development and play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive student success and operational excellence. The Institutional Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the College’s data analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities. This role will centralize institutional reporting, enforce data governance standards, and leverage advanced analytics tools such as Ellucian Insight, Power BI, and artificial intelligence to support decision-making at all levels of the College.
From predicting enrollment and retention trends to measuring program success, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering clear, meaningful, and accessible information that helps leadership, faculty, and staff make data-informed decisions aligned with HGTC’s strategic goals.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Institutional Research, or related field; Experience with Ellucian Insight and integration of multiple data sources; Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in higher education; Knowledge of workforce development and labor market data analysis; Advanced skills in Python, R, or other statistical programming languages. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Capacity to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Commitment to data accuracy, security, and ethical use.
