Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking candidates for an Adjunct Instructor, Human Services. The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for, but not limited to, the preparation and delivery of instruction in a classroom setting, face-to-face or online, using multiple teaching methods and technology while evaluating student achievement of learning outcomes across a variety of Human Services courses. Duties that the adjunct instructor must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, include the following.

• Provides instruction in Human Services courses regardless of format, whether online, hybrid, or face-to-face. 

• Prepares instruction packages (syllabi) reflecting course student learning outcomes (SLOs).

• Prepares course materials as required, such as assignments, tests/quizzes, and handouts.

• Evaluates and grades students’ class and/or laboratory assignments, projects, papers, and examinations.

• Maintains student attendance and grades in D2L.

• Submits records of student attendance and grades, as well as other documentation, by specified deadlines as required.

• Adheres to College and departmental policies, standards, and procedures.

• Maintains good communication with department chair, colleagues, clients, and students.
