Job Description:

The Student Affairs division at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applications for an Administrative Assistant for the Vice President. The Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office of the Vice President through independent management of all office functions. The selected candidate will also be required for the daily management of the office to include planning and organizing office operations, coordinating the schedule of the Vice President, facilitating processes related to student, staff and public concerns, monitoring and implementing administrative procedures in the office of the Vice President and facilitating administrative processes across the Student Affairs division.

Advertised Salary:

$35,360 (Minimum)- $50,394 (Midpoint)

Minimum Requirements:

HS diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience required; excellent computer, typing and word processing skills preferred; writing/correspondence composition skills and budget knowledge preferred. Excellent customer service skills.
