Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two-year community/technical college that offers more than 80 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor's degree.

The Student Services Division at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applications for a Professional Counselor. The Counselor will be responsible for providing counseling for students, support for faculty working with students on all three campuses and to refer students to and partner with community resources. The selected candidate should have the ability to work with a diverse student population; ability to determine and implement appropriate counseling strategies; skills in working with faculty in varied programs to support student success.
Commensurate with education and experience.
Master's degree counseling, social work, or closely related field.
Professional licensure, such as LPC or LMSW, is strongly preferred.
