Job Description:

The Coordinator for Accessibility and Disability Services will facilitate and assistant students with specified needs within Student Affairs.

Coordination of services to include:

Ensuring the implementation of reasonable and appropriate accommodations in a timely manner.
Facilitating the educational development of students with disabilities by making appropriate referrals to on- and off-campus services and agencies.
Serving as an advocate for students in college community.
Provide support for ADA related issues including coordinating faculty/staff training; monitoring campus accessibility issues; and completing data on students with disabilities in order to provide information for institutional needs.

Assist students through the change of major process.

Provide career counseling for students who are undecided on a major or career path.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Advertised Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.  

Minimum Requirements:

Master's Degree; or Bachelor's degree + (2) years of experience in student services programming including experience with people with disabilities.
