The Administrative Information Systems division for the Office of Information Technology is currently seeking an individual to assist in providing college-wide high level technical support through analysis, design, programming and maintenance of system and web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new initiatives to include installation, maintenance and administration for mobile technology, web programming, and an integrated product suite which includes enterprise reporting, payment processing and document enhancement. Additional responsibilities include Oracle PL/SQL development and advanced SQL scripting.
Installs, configures, troubleshoots and maintains relatively complex computer software applications, custom web-based solutions, and new initiatives relative to existing administrative systems; partners with a department within the College serving as a subject matter expert assisting with automating processes and procedures.
Provides direct support for the proper operation and ongoing maintenance of software applications and Web-based solutions supporting administrative information systems within assigned functional area(s).
Ensures rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practice in the delivery of customer support services for integrated Web services.
Provides user training, assistance, and consultation on the use of administrative software applications and web-based solutions; assist with simulations or recreations to identify problems and resolve any difficulties end users may have.
Consults with users and Office of Information Technology staff in the analysis and design of new administrative information systems and applications, and the revision or enhancement of existing systems; assists in creating and executing procedures that ensure that all systems, products and services meet the standards of the College and user requirements.
